Amalio Fernández-Pacheco explains his research in TedX talk

In the last few decades computing has revolutionised the way we work and how we spend our leisure time. The revolutionary benefits have come with potential environmental costs, however, associated with electricity generation.

But can technological innovation be part of the solution? In a recent TedX talk given in Zaragoza Sidney Fellow in Natural Sciences Dr Amalio Fernández-Pacheco explains how his research aims to revolutionise the microchip, moving from energy intensive systems that require an electrical charge to ones based on magnetic nanowires.
