Sidney is excited to welcome 109 new undergraduate students into our College community this academic year.

We are delighted to introduce Sidney’s newest undergraduates who have worked exceptionally hard to overcome a challenging couple of years as a result of the pandemic situation.

“My biggest dream has just come true - I’m so excited!”

Introducing some of Sidney’s newest undergraduate students!

Anne Deissenberg will be studying Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, and noted, “I'm really looking forward to joining Sidney Sussex! Cambridge is such a beautiful and lively city and Sidney is said to be a very friendly College. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to study in such an outstanding establishment.”

Scarlett Bambridge will study Law, and said, “Although I anticipate Cambridge to be a challenge, I am so excited to be studying a course I’m passionate about. For years I have loved Cambridge as a city, and I hope to fall in love with it once more as an undergraduate! I can’t wait to get stuck in with new societies and make new friends.”

Elizaveta Stetsenko will also be studying Law at Sidney. She said, “My biggest dream has just come true - I’m so excited! When I arrive at Sidney, I’m most looking forward to studying Law in small-group supervisions, making new friends from all over the world and making the most of all the incredible opportunities that Cambridge offers.”

Leah Knight is excited to study Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, and commented, “I am very excited to be starting at Sidney! I will be studying PBS and I am most looking forward to meeting lots of new people, challenging myself academically and living in such a beautiful city!”

We hope that our new and continuing students are having a lovely summer break, and we look forward to welcoming you all to Sidney soon.
